Great Celebrations at Tipperary Education and Training Board’s Further Education Awards Ceremony, Nenagh 2017

Tipperary Education and Training Board (TETB) hosted their Further Education Annual Awards Ceremony in The Abbey Court Hotel on Thursday evening the 16th November 2017 for learners who attend Further Education Courses in Community Education, Basic Education, the Back to Education Initiative, and the Skills for Work programmes.  This event is held to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of part-time learners within the service.

Eileen Condon Director of Further Education and Training opened the ceremony by welcoming John Fahey Vice Chairperson of TETB Committee, Liam Ahearn Chairperson of the Further Education and Training Committee, Kaye Mullaney Adult Education Officer, all the staff in the further education service, award recipients, their families and friends.

Eileen congratulated and acknowledged the hard work of all the learners on their achievements, and highlighted their importance as ambassadors of learning within the wider community.

John Fahey Vice Chairperson of TETB Committee also took the opportunity to extend a very warm comhghairdeas to all present on the night and wished every one future success.

Kaye Mullaney Adult Education Officer, spoke on behalf of the Further Education Service team thanking the family and friends of all learners who supported their learning journey as well as acknowledging the work of all staff across the service. Thanks was extended to all involved in the organisation on this very successful and celebratory occasion.

A total of 302 learners were invited to receive Certificates at this Awards Ceremony.  Awards were presented to learners by Kaye Mullaney, Liam Ahearn, John Fahey and staff of the further education services.
