CARRICK-ON-SUIR, CO TIPPERARY: Teenagers and adults from Carrick-on-Suir and its surrounding areas showed great interest in local education courses at Tipperary ETB’s annual Open Morning at Carrick-on-Suir Further Education and Training (FET) Centre on Tuesday, 16 April.

The FET centre, located at the former Comeragh College building at Greenside (Eircode: E32 AN26), saw people of all ages chat with learners and tutors about the selection of full and part-time courses available in Carrick-on-Suir, as well as in other Tipperary ETB centres across the county.

Visitors were able to talk to adult guidance and information officers at the FET Centre, and also take guided tours of the excellent facilities, which includes computer classrooms, a woodwork room and cookery/barista kitchen.

Fiona Hennessy, Manager of Carrick-on-Suir FET Centre, said there was great interest at the Open Morning in the courses available:
