Tipperary ETB Provision Mapping Showcase 2025

Tipperary ETB Provision Mapping Showcase 2025A Provision Mapping Showcase, attended by Tipperary ETB Inclusive Leads and Deputy Principals, was held at Tipperary FET College in Archerstown, Thursday, on Tuesday, 8 April, facilitated by Tipperary ETB’s Inclusion Lead, Ramona Morgan.

Provision Mapping is an evidence-based process underway in our Tipperary ETB post-primary schools, developed in partnership with Mary Immaculate College (MIC) and Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) to evaluate student supports, strategically cost and plan provision, allocate resources, and identify staff professional learning needs.

Speaking at the Leading Inclusive Education Showcase, Tipperary ETB’s Acting Chief Executive, Clodagh Kelly, said “the most important benefits include increased school-wide awareness and collaboration and an understanding of inclusive and special education. The provision mapping project supports all students, including those with special education needs (SEN), by working with all teachers in schools to examine teaching, learning and assessment approaches that make a difference to students’ outcomes.”

The Showcase facilitated the sharing of experiences, and the findings indicate that provision mapping is having a positive impact on student learning and staff understanding, and awareness in schools.
