Tipperary FET College, Tipperary ETB’s Further Education and Training provision, was officially launched at a special event coinciding with its Open Day at Archerstown, Thurles, on Friday, 21 March.

Tipperary FET College brings about greater collaboration between the existing FET campuses and services across the county, providing students with a wealth of services to help them on their learning journey.

Tipperary FET College has over 20 campuses in the county, offering Further Education and Training courses across a wide selection of employment sectors.

New signage for Tipperary FET College was unveiled at the Archerstown campus by Chairperson of Tipperary ETB, Cllr Roger Kennedy, who spoke alongside Acting Chief Executive Clodagh Kelly and Director of FET Colin Cummins. Tipperary ETB were delighted to also be joined by board members and representatives of TUS and Mary Immaculate College, who are key partners with us in education provision.

Tipp FM’s flagship current affairs show, Tipp Today, was broadcast live from Archerstown, featuring interviews with Colin Cummins, Roger Kennedy, our Tertiary Manager, Jenny Whelan, and Caroline Maher and Miah O’Sullivan, from our Hospitality Department. Thanks to everyone who played a part in today’s event in Archerstown. The energy, enthusiasm, and commitment was evident from the moment you drove onto the site.
